One NBA player on Every Team that will Most Likely be in the Hall of Fame (2022)

I was just finishing watching NBA All-Star Game and I will admit it was an enjoyable time. I especially love the contests that are always played including the Dunking contest and the 3 point contest. While watching the NBA All-Star Game I wondered to myself how many hall of fame players do I see currently playing on my TV right now. So immediately I thought what about every team asking myself What player is the most likely to be inducted on every single team? So I decided why not go through every team and list what player is the most likely in 2022 to go in and see which team I think doesn’t have a hall of fame player on there team. Lets start with the Atlanta Hawks.

Atlanta Hawks – PG Trae Young
Its a bit too early right now to tell but I would have to give it to Trae Young. Especially as he is easily one of the best young players in the NBA Today and is getting better everytime he gets onto the court. Now he is not a lock to make it yet but if he keeps this up for 3-5 years or gets an NBA Championship then I would probably put him as a lock to go in.

Boston Celtics – F/C Al Holford
Many are probably going to disagree with me on this one but out of all of the players on the Celtics currently. I have to go with Al Holford getting the Hall of Fame nod out of the bunch. Especially has Al Holford has made five All-Star Games and an All-NBA plus All-Defensive team.  Al Holford has excelled on defense and was a major contributer to playoff teams for the Celtics, 76ers, and Hawks. Yes Jayson Tatum is the right track and should be a hall of fame player. But I view Holford as more of a lock in the hall of fame right no than Jaysom Tatum. With time that should change.

Brooklyn Nets – SF/PF Kevin Durant
No question here. Durant is an absolute lock and will be going in the hall of fame whenever he retires. There are a lot of players in Brooklyn that will most likely be in the hall of fame. Notably Kyrie Irving (If he can play more games in the future) and maybe Ben Simmons (If he can hit a jump shot and be more consistent). Don’t forget that there are a bunch of ring chasers on this team notably LaMarcus Aldridge who also most likely will be inducted into the hall of fame. Heck even Blake Griffin as well could potentially be in consideration as a hall of famer. Durant is a 2 time NBA Champion, 2 Time NBA Finals MVP, 12 time NBA All-Star, 6 time All-NBA First Team, 3 time All-NBA Second Team, and a part of the 50-40-90 club. The 50-40-90 club is well when a player has 50% field goal percentage, 40% three point field goal percentage, and 90% free throw percentage. Some players in this club are Larry Bird, Reggie Miller, Dirk Nowitzki, Kevin Durant,  Stephen Curry, Malcolm Brogdon, Steve Nash, Kyrie Irving, and Mark Price. Heck and to add onto it. Durant is one of three active players with a 100 percent rating on Basketball Reference’s HoF probability rating which is very telling.

Charlotte Hornets – Nobody
As a fan of the Charlotte Hornets I wish I could put any player here. But I got to be honest I can’t label anyone on this team as a hall of famer yet. Most of there players right now are young right now and if they continues to develop and play well he could be a hall of fame players. I debated putting Gordon Hayward here but injuries have derailed him and if he was healthy in Boston I probably would of placed him here.

Chicago Bulls – SG/SF Demar DeRozan
Besides DeRozan there really is not a player for now that I see as a hall of famer. If Zach LaVine can continue to play well for years to come than I would put him as a hall of famer. But DeRozen is a 5 time All-star player, a 1 time All-NBA Second Team Player, and ALL-NBA Third Team player. He was a strong contributor to Toronto Raptor teams as well. It sucks that he was traded to San Antonio for Kawhi Leonard as that move made Toronto later win an NBA Championship. But DeRozan absolutely has a chance to make it to the Hall of Fame from everyone in Chicago.

Cleveland Cavaliers – PG Rajan Rando
This one I debated with myself as a lot of the players in Cleveland are young. The only two player that I see in the Hall of Fame for now is Kevin Love and Rajan Rando. If I had to choose one I think is more likley to get in it is close but I have to choose Rando. Especially with how good of a player he was in the 2010’s and his whole tenure with the Boston Celtics. Even though he was a successful ring chaser with the Los Angeles Lakers during the whole NBA Bubble Championship as a result of the pandemic. He still was a solid rotational player with the team. The Two NBA Championships along with being a 4 time NBA All-Star, All-NBA Third Team member, 2 time NBA All-Defensive First Team, 2 time NBA All-Defensive Second Team, 3 time NBA assist leader, and led the league in steals in 2010. He has the strong resume being a hall of famer that is for sure.

Dallas Mavericks – PG/SF Luka Dončić
I mean there really is no debate with this one here. Luka Dončić is one of the best players I have ever seen in the NBA today. Absolutely a Top 5 player in the League no question. He has had three consecutive All-Star Appearance and 2 time All-NBA First Team. He is an offensive freak and have I mentioned that Dončić is only 22 years old. He is going to get better and better the longer he plays. The Mavericks have a franchise player and should do everything they can to keep Dončić happy.

Denver Nuggets – C Nikola Jokic
Another no brainer here. Nikola Jokic is one of the best players in the NBA today on defense and on offense. He is a 4 time NBA All-Star, 2 time All-NBA First Team, 1 time All-NBA Secound Team, NBA All-Rookie First Team, and a was the NBA MVP in 2021. He is clearly the franchise player in Denver and should if he keeps this up be a Hall of Famer.

Detroit Pistons – Nobody
Not going to go long here. The Detroit Pistons are currently rebuilding right now and don’t have a player I see going into the Hall of Fame. I will say Cade Cunningham has looked excellent this year but he is in his rookie season and a lot can change. But yeah, Nobody here.

Golden State Warriors – PG Stephen Curry
Even though he is not retiring anytime soon I can safely say that there is a 100% chance of Stephen Curry going to the hall of fame. He was the face of the Warriors dynasty and He is one of the best NBA talents that we as basketball fans will ever see ever. With so many accomplishments like being a 3 time NBA championship, 2 time NBA MVP, 8 time NBA All-Star, 4 time All-NBA First Team, 2 time All-NBA Second Team, 1 time All-NBA third team, and was a part of the 75th Anniversary Team. Oh have I also mentioned that he is a part of the 50-40-90 club. Yeah absolutely will go into the hall of fame no question.

Houston Rockets – Nobody
Yeah no, I see nobody on the Rockets as a potential Hall of Famer. Especially as they are rebuilding the team. Imagine if John Wall was able to stay healthy throughout his entire career.

Indiana Pacers – Nobody
The Pacers are a cursed franchise. I have come to believe as every-time a star player comes in and plays well they always get hurt and then leave the team. Plus one thing the trade deadline showed us is that they are blowing it up and restarting there rebuild. But out of all the players on this team right now I can’t choose one that would go into the hall of fame. Malcolm Brogdon is the closest one as he is a part of the 50-40-90 club but I think he is going to need a few more years of playing to have a shot at a potential hall of fame. But as of now I would lean on saying nobody.

Los Angeles Clippers – SF Kawhi Leonard
I could just say his entire tenure with the Toronto Raptors basically solidified him a spot in the hall of fame but that would be too lazy. He is a an excellent player as well with the Spurs and Clippers as well. He is a 2 time NBA Champion, 2 time NBA Finals MVP, 5 time NBA-All Star, 3 time All-NBA First Team, 2 time All-NBA Second Team, 2 time  NBA Defensive Player of the Year, 3 time NBA All-Defensive First Team, 4 time NBA All-Defensive Second Team and was a part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team. Kawhi is 100% going into the NBA Hall of Fame.

Los Angeles Lakers – SF LeBron James
There are plenty of choices for the Lakers to choose from. Including Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook aka Triple Double Man. Plus there are plenty of ring chasers as well on the Lakers that could be good choices for the Hall of fame like Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony, and even DeAndre Jordan. But come on LeBron James is the best player in NBA History on the level of Michael Jordan. LeBron James is along with Kevin Durant as one of three active players with a 100 percent rating on Basketball Reference’s HoF probability rating which is very telling. I don’t need to go into further detail LeBron has around a 1236% chance of going into the hall of fame

Memphis Grizzlies – Nobody
It is too early to say anyone on the Memphis Grizzlies is a Hall of Famer. They are young and need to make it past the second round. I will say Ja Morant is a fantastic player and if he keeps this up for many years to come then he could make a case for the Hall of Fame.

Miami Heat – SF Jimmy Butler
Jimmy Butler was a fantastic player but he needed to find a stable home after he left the Chicago Bulls. He clearly did not want to be in Minnesota and was trade for pennies on the dollar. He was excellent with the Philadelphia 76ers but they did not come to an agreement. He finally found his home with the Miami Heat and my goodness he has been fantastic and showcased why his is one of the Top 15 maybe 10 players in the NBA. He is a 6 time NBA All-Star, 4 time All-NBA Third Team, and 5 time NBA All-Defensive Second Team. I debated Victor Oladipo here but injuries have derailed him. I will admit Bam Adebayo is a fantastic player as well and if he keeps up his strong performance then he would make his case for being a hall of famer. Time will tell though for Adebayo but Jimmy Butler for me is the hall of famer for here.

Milwaukee Bucks – PF Giannis Antetokounmpo
No question here as last season he gave the Milwaukee Bucks their first NBA Championship since 1971. In my opinion he is the best player in the NBA Today no question. Along with the NBA Championship he also was the Finals MVP, 2 time NBA MVP, 6 time NBA All-Star, 3 time All-NBA First Team, 2 time All-NBA Second Team, 3 time NBA All-Defensive First Team, 1 time NBA All-Defensive Second Team, and was a part of the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team. I wound be shocked if he was not a first ballot hall of famer when the time comes. Serge Ibaka and Kris Middleton are also options to choose as well.

Minnesota Timberwolves – C Karl-Anthony Towns
It is not a sure thing for any player on the Timberwolves to be in the hall of fame but If I had to choose one player I would go with Karl-Anthony Towns. Especially as he is one of the best offensive players in his position in the NBA Today. Plus Karl-Anthony Towns is also a 3 time NBA All-Star and a 1 time All NBA Third Team. I just wish Karl-Anthony Towns was surrounded with better players earlier in his career but luckily he is only 26 and is still in his prime so we as basketball fans should get many years of great basketball play from him. At least he has Anthony Edwards who has looked great so far in his career and D’Angelo Russell. I also could see D’Angelo Russell as a hall of famer but again I am not confident.

New Orleans Pelicans – Nobody
Many will disagree with me on this but I honestly don’t see anyone on the Pelicans as a potential hall of famer yet. The closest I guess would be CJ McCollum as he has had moments of brillance with the Trail Blazers. It is too early for me to say Zion Williamson is a Hall of Fame talent but he does have potential being one if he improves and stays healthy. Brandon Ingram has potential as well to be a hall of fame talent as he broke out with the New Orleans Pelicans. But again I am not saying with confidence that they are Hall of Famers. Time will tell for these players though.

New York Knicks – PG Kemba Walker
I don’t care how much Kemba Walker has declined as a player of the New York Knicks. He is a hall of famer in my book. Im not saying this because he is my favorite player in the NBA growing up but he has been the best player in Charlotte Hornets history at this point. He was unstoppable as a Hornet. Throughout his career Kemba has been a 4 time NBA All-Star, a 1 time All-NBA Third Team, and won the NBA Sportsmanship Award 2 times. Besides that the Knicks don’t really have a player I can label as a hall of famer excluding Kemba Walker. I just hope Kemba Walker gets better in the future.

Oklahoma City Thunder – Nobody
I honestly contemplated putting Sam Presti’s Pick Collection as just a Hall Of Fame Counter part itself. Jokes aside yeah too early to tell if any players in Oklahoma City are hall of famers. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the only player I can see having potential as a hall of famer but again too early to tell.

Orlando Magic – Nobody
Yeah I don’t see anybody in Orlando as a Hall of Fame player. They are on a full blown rebuild and a lot of there players are young. Besides that there really is not much to say.

Philadelphia 76ers – James Harden
Say what you want about James Harden off the court but you can’t deny two things about James Harden. 1st how awesome he looks with a beard and 2nd How talented he is on the court. I mean James Harden has accomplished so much like in 2018 the NBA MVP, 10 time NBA All-Star, 6 time All-NBA First Team, 1 time All-NBA Third Team, 3 time NBA scoring champion, and a part of the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team. Maybe one day he can get a ring with the 76ers (I doubt the 76ers do as they have never been the same since that Kawhi Leonard Shot when he was a Raptor) He absolutely is a player I can say with 100% confidence that he will be a hall of famer.

Phoenix Suns – PG Chris Paul
When both James Harden and Chris Paul were preparing for a split many said trading Chris Paul would be more beneficial than trading Harden. I was opposite of this as I though Chris Paul was one of the most underrated players in the NBA at that time. Well the Rockets traded CP3 for Triple Double Man and well it did not work out for the Houston Rockets. Look at how well CP3 played with both the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Phoenix Suns. The Thunder were projected to be one of the worst teams and with CP3 on the court with his leadership they turned into a playoff team. CP3 was later traded to the Phoenix Suns to grow more of the Sam Presti’s pick collection with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Pheonix was the missing piece for Phoenix and almost won an NBA Championship with the team. To add onto it CP3 also is a 12 time NBA All-Star, 4 time All-NBA First Team, 5 time All-NBA Second Team , 1 time All-NBA Third Team, 7 time  NBA All-Defensive First Team , 2 time  NBA All-Defensive Second Team, 4 time NBA assists leader, 6 time NBA Steals leader, and a part of the NBA 75th anniversary team. Chris Paul is along with LeBron James and Kevin Durant as one of three active players with a 100 percent rating on Basketball Reference’s HoF probability rating which is very telling.

Portland Trail Blazers – Damian Lillard
No brainer here as Damian Lillard is easily the best player in franchise history. Liliard also is a 6 time NBA All-Star, 1 time All-NBA First Team , 4 time All-NBA Second Team, and was a part of the NBA’s 75th Anniversary team. In my opinion for what he has dealt with in Portland he deserves a ring and should be inducted into the hall of fame when the time comes.

Sacramento Kings – Nobody
It is too early to tell as a lot of there players are young. To be honest as always I have no idea what the Sacramento Kings are doing trading Marvin Badgley and Tyrese Haliburton at the trade deadline. But it will be interesting to see how the Kings will do but they still have potential in De’Aaron Fox.

San Antonio Spurs – Nobody
The Spurs are rebuilding right now and it is too early to tell if the Spurs have a hall of fame player on their team. But there is a lot of exciting youth on this team that is intriguing for the future in Dejounte Murray, Zach Collins, Lonnie Walker, Romeo Langford, and etc. Time is going to tell but the Spurs don’t have a hall of fame player yet.

Toronto Raptors – PF Pascal Siakam
This one I debated putting nobody in here but I decided to have Pascal Siakam at this spot. Especially as he was an underrated piece in the NBA Championship Squad. 2020 was the year of Siakam as well as he was an NBA All-Star and a part of the All-NBA Second team. Siakam maybe 27 and has plenty of time to solidify himself as a lock to make it into the hall of fame but for me I see him as a hall of famer.

Utah Jazz – C Rudy Gobert
Rudy Gobert is one of the best defensive centers in the NBA today. Gobert is a 3 time BVA All-Star, 1 time All-NBA Second Team, 3 time All-NBA Third Ream, 3 time NBA Defensive Player of the Year, 5 time NBA All-Defensive First Team, and led the NBA in blocks in 2017. What stinks is Gobert will be known for as the guy who shut the whole NBA down after he tested postive for Covid-19 after mocking the virus after a press conference than with his basketball career. If he keeps this up then he will be a lock into the Hall of fame

Washington Wizards – Nobody
This will be another one that a lot of people may disagree with me on. As of now I don’t see anyone on the Wizards as a Hall of Fame player. I know a lot of people will say what about Bradley Beal. They have points because ever since Bradley Beal joined the Wizards he has been a fantastic player for them. But he has not been healthy especially with his latest wrist injury and constant shoulder injuries. Same thing with Portzingis he can’t stay healthy but is an excellent player on the court. Luckily Portzingis is 26 and Beal is 28 so in due time they can build up and showcase why they are Hall of Fame players.
