Titans @ Steelers
Both of these teams seemed to have avoided the Covid-19 bug that has been spread around the league this week. So this should be one of the more normal games in the sense that no key starters will be sidelined. Tennessee seems to be regaining their footing at just the right time. Julio Jones has returned and should give a boost to the offense. Derrick Henry is reportedly on pace to return sooner than expected from his foot injury. Meanwhile, in Pittsburgh, the Steelers have dropped to the bottom of their division after losing (and tying) the last 5 games. Pittsburgh has never had a losing season under Mike Tomlin, this could be the year.

Panthers @ Bills
The Panthers are a bit of a trainwreck after they keep flip flopping QBs during games. To make things even more chaotic, Matt Rhule has stated that Sam Darnold may take back the starting role. That’s just what that team needs, another bad QB to split starting reps at practice. Not that it matters, no amount of practice can help veteran quarterbacks. If your multiple years into your career in the NFL, and you still suck, you just suck. The Bills have a good QB, I think. There have been games this year where he looked bad, but I still trust Allen over Cam or Sam.

Texans @ Jaguars
Imagine getting this game twice a year. With the long awaited termination of Urban Meyer finally here, I think the Jaguars have their best game of the season, which honestly isn’t saying much.

Cowboys @ Giants
An NFC East matchup that seems to be very one sided. Dallas is 9-4, while the Giants are just hoping themselves and the Bears lose out so they can get two top 5 picks in the draft next year. None of that matters if Joe Judge remains the Head Coach, and according to reports, he will most likely be back next year. Dallas is looking into the postseason, New York is content with it’s poor coaching. Also, Mike Glennon is starting again. Easy pick. I hope.

Cardinals @ Lions
Even without DeAndre Hopkins, the Cardinals should run away with this game, “should” being the key word. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Lions upset the Cardinals, especially with all the upsets that have happened this year. Despite that, this game has the ability to have the largest victory of the week. A blowout happens in Detroit today.

Jets @ Dolphins
What are the odds we have two awful divisional games on the same week (See Texans @ Jags). Due to the Covid-19 outbreak this week, the Dolphins will be without Jaylen Waddle and Philip Lindsay, two key players in their offense. On the other sideline, the Jets will have to play without the week 8 legend himself, Mike White “Lightning”, as he is also out due to Covid. The Dolphins are on a 5-game win streak, and have kept themselves in the thick of the playoff race after starting 1-7. That streak ends here. I’m picking the Jets to shatter the playoff hopes of their division rival this week. The Jets have played… not bad football since Zach Wilson returned from his injury. He has played great, but I believe he plays well enough today to upset their rival.

Bengals @ Broncos
I picked the Bengals last week and they lost, again. I said if they lose I would never pick them again. I’m nothing if not a man of my word. This also seems like a team they should beat, but they won’t.

Falcons @ 49ers
This also seems like a trap game for San Francisco, but I believe their strengths perfectly match Atlanta’s weaknesses. The Falcons defense continues to disappoint, and the 49ers offense has multiple playmakers in Kittle, Deebo, and Ayuik. If Matt Ryan isn’t able to keep up with Jimmy G, this game could get outa hand quickly. The only problem Ryan has to face is that 49er defense. Yeah, I’ll take the 9ers.

Packers @ Ravens
Upset of the week here! Lamar Jackson is questionable for todays game, but even if he plays, I think most people have the Packers as the favorite. Not me. John Harbaugh has stated multiple times that Tyler Huntley is basically a poor mans Lamar Jackson. He can do everything Lamar does, just not as good. I just have a feeling that Huntley goes off and goes toe-to-toe with the former MVP and future HoFer, and ends up pulling off the upset. In the event that Lamar does start, just substitute Lamar’s name for Huntley’s in the last sentence. I’m picking Baltimore.

Saints @ Buccaneers
The Saints upset the Bucs earlier this year, but how often does Tom Brady lose to the same team twice in the same season? Sorry, New Orleans, but now you must suffer the wrath of Brady after embarrassing him in October. I don’t make the rules, I just write about them.

Raiders @ Browns
Lets be real, this game should probably be postponed until wednesday to allow the Browns to not have to field practice squad players at every position. The Browns have 20 players just on the Covid list, not counting those who are on the injury report, which is an extensive list in itself. Some key names in Cleveland set to miss the game include Baker Mayfield, Jareem Hunt, Mack Wilson, Grant Delpit, Jadeveon Clowney, John Johnson, Ronnie Harrison, Austin Hooper, Wyatt Teller, Jedrick Wills, and Jarvis Landry. The Raiders have 0 players on the Covid list. If this game is not pushed back, the Browns are screwed. In the Midst of a playoff push, where they cannot afford to lose otherwise they are practically out, the NFL said, “oh, well. Good luck.” This is reminiscent of the Broncos playing with a practice squad WR at QB last season. With that being said, if the Raiders actually lose this game…

Vikings @ Bears
The Bears Covid list isn’t as long as Cleveland’s but on a team that’s already missing several starters this year, losing Allen Robinson, Eddie Jackson and Larry Borom doesn’t help. The Vikings defense is probably a welcome sight for Justin Fields, though, as its a big step down from facing defenses like Green Bay San Francisco, Pittsburgh and Cleveland. If the Bears can protect Fields and give him a pocket to throw from, they might stand a chance. However, the Bears defense is also bad, specifically their passing defense. They are going up against one of the most talented receiving group, with Kirk Cousins quietly having his best season, statistically. The Bears run defense has a history of being able to contain Dalvin Cook, so Vikings should air it out if they want to win.

Football Team @ Eagles
The first of two Tuesday games this week. Washington also got hit hard with the Covid bug, losing both QBs, Taylor Heinicke and Kyle Allen, along with Kendall Fuller, Troy Apke, Matt Ioannidis, Cam Simms, and Tyler Larsen. If they can’t get Heinicke or Allen back, before game time, it’s Garret Gilbert. Heinicke is vaccinated and if he is asymptomatic, he could suit up. But if not, it should be an easy W for whoever the Eagles start at QB, but if you ask me, Gardner Minshew should start.

Seahawks @ Rams
Rams also have over 20 players on the Covid list, but they get some good news as Odell Beckham Jr. and Jalen Ramsay, both who tested positive earlier in the week, have both tested negative and should be good to go on Tuesday. Seattle is in a place they haven’t been in since 2010. The bottom of the NFC West this late in the year. The only thing they have to fight for this week is trying keeping the Rams out of the #1 seed. I think the Seahawks will put up a fight, but will be unable to close out the game.
